Kelly Clarkson: 14 Year Old JLSC Winner Salem Meade is a Rock Legend in the Making

New York (September 24, 2020) – The John Lennon Songwriting Contest will celebrate what would have been John Lennon’s 80th birthday on October 9th on Instagram Live on the Lennon Bus’ Instagram page.

Upon our arrival at Strawberry Mansion High School students were greeted by hip-hop superstar Kevin Gates along with Artist Ambassadors Tytewriter and Ivan Barias. Students created original content, toured the bus and had an opportunity to interact with their heroes in one-on-one settings. Special thanks to the GRAMMY Music Education Coalition, Yamaha, OWC, Neutrik and Genelec for making it all possible.
