From the Big Apple to the City of Brotherly Love

YES, that’s him! Kevin Gates joins Lennon Bus & GRAMMY Music Education Coalition as Artist Ambassador.

Imagine a whole month of peace, love and creativity. The Lennon Bus spent September and October visiting students from all five boroughs of New York City while shining a light on student activism, anti-gun violence and music education. Our time in the Big Apple culminated with The Bus’ first visit to AES Show at Javits Center where we provided producers, engineers and audiophiles of all ages with free hands on experiences. Upon our arrival at Strawberry Mansion High School students were greeted by hip-hop superstar Kevin Gates along with Artist Ambassadors Tytewriter and Ivan Barias. Students created original content, toured the bus and had an opportunity to interact with their heroes in one-on-one settings. Special thanks to the GRAMMY Music Education Coalition, Yamaha, OWC, Neutrik and Genelec for making it all possible.
